Reading Fetish Social – August 15th
“Reading Fetish Social” is a Kink & Fetish SFW 18+ social event. It aims to promote networking and provide a safe space and networking for kinksters and fetishists, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a trial event for future socials; if we gain enough interest and attendance, we will run more socials.
The event runs for 6 hours from 12-6 PM at the Bla Bla in Reading, and no pre-booking required first come, first serve.
This is event will be in Reading at The Bla Bla. The venue is a grade listed building and has single-step access, with a ramp available needed (please get in touch with us if needed). Unfortunately, due to the age of the building does not have gender-neutral or accessible toilets, but people are welcome to use the toilet, which they feel affirming.
1-2 min walk from Reading Main Train Station and Blagrave Street and Station Road Bus stop
The Bla Bla, 35 Blagrave St, Reading RG1 1PW also known as The Blagrave Arms
The event occurs on Sunday 15th August 12:00-6:00 PM. Current, this is a trial social; if going well, more events will be planned.
This is for all those interested or a part of the Kink and Fetish community (including Leather, Rubber, Pup, etc.), especially those intersecting with the LGBTQIA+ community. You are welcome regardless of the gear you have.
Please read our code of conduct (COC) before joining the event (https://animagi.co.uk/coc/). As stated in the COC, this event will be 18+ and the dress code is minimum swimwear coverage (no nudity will be allowed). This includes the covering of female-presenting nipples, buttocks, and intimate parts (genitals), including plug tails. There is no set dress code as long as it follows the public decency and rules stated above; gear is advised but is not necessary.
When in conversation, ensure everyone is consenting to a conversation. If you are uncomfortable with a discussion state and make the person/people aware, let an admin know if there is an issue. We emphasise that this is a safe, sex-positive space, therefore conversations around sexual intercourse, consensual BDSM and interactions of an intimate nature maybe be spoken about.
Conversations around illegal activities (excluding sex work) could result in a permanent ban.
Following our COC, we enforce that this social aims to create a safe space; ANIMAGI CIC will not act on complaints regarding:
• “Reverse”-isms, including “reverse racism,” “reverse sexism,” and “cisphobia.”
• Communication of boundaries, such as “leave me alone,” “go away,” or “I’m not discussing this with you.”
• Communicating in a “tone” you do not find congenial.
• Criticism of offensive racist, sexist, cissexist, or otherwise oppressive behaviour or assumptions.
This event is free. However, you can donate to ANIMAGI CIC to help fund and support future events.
