Join us at Reading Pride - Saturday 3rd September 2022

The March

What’s it About?
Kicking off the 2022 Reading Pride is a LOUD and PROUD march through the town centre to pay ode to the protest history of prides.

We’re delighted to invite anyone who wants to join to march as part of the ANIMAGI Kinksters, Fetishists, Pet players,
handlers… whoever you are. We’d encourage you to come in your gear and show off your pride to be part of the community!

Meeting Point and Time
The march kicks off from 11:00am at the Civic Offices, travels along Broad Street, Market Place, Forbury Gardens and ends at the King’s Meadow Festival around 12pm.

We invite you to join us at the Civic Offices at around 10:45am, ready for the pride March.

The Festival

The Reading Pride Love Unites Festival starts at 12:00pm in King’s Meadow and runs until late evening. You can find full details of the festival offering on the Reading Pride website.

ANIMAGI’s Uncensored Stage
After the success of last years Kink & Fetish Zone hosted by ANIMAGI, this year we’re back 10x bigger and better!

We’ve partnered with the amazing The Cavalcade to provide a Kink & Fetish friendly hub with spectacular live performers and a unbeatable atmosphere to enjoy your 2022 Reading Pride.

We would love to welcome you to come and join us and enjoy the spectacular performers, treat yourself to some of the delicious food and drinks available onsite, join some of our games (and possibly even join our Puppy Parade or panels!) and have a unforgettable day with us. We’ll be running within the Love Unites festival from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

FAQs

The Pride March and Love Unites festival are FREE to enter. Reading Pride do encourage donations to keep the event free to all, so please donate what you can.

Yes! We’ve worked closely with Reading Pride to ensure that anyone wanting to come to the event in gear is more than welcome! The ask is that you have minimum swimwear coverage. Pups, leather, rubber, furries, lycra, neoprene, harnesses or anything else you fancy wearing is a-okay.

We’d ask you to remember the event is open to all ages, so please do be considerate with your choice of clothing.

Note NO insertable tails or genitals on display – you will be refused entry to the event.

Yes! For many years now pups/pet players/kinksters have been attending Reading Pride without incident – and with Reading Pride working closely with ANIMAGI and providing us a significant area within the festival they are clearly committed to making sure we’re welcome!

The entire event is fenced off from the public, and on entry there is a festival style security check / bag search.

Reading Pride staff / security / volunteers are clearly identifiable by their high-vis jackets. If you do need anything during the event don’t hesitate to ask. ANIMAGI staff will also be readily available around the Uncensored Stage.

Absolutely! Just like in 2021 we’ve partnered with Berkshire Furs to ensure we provision a space for furries to de-head and generally relax after the march or throughout the event.

We’ve provisioned a large private area behind our Uncensored Stage this year, simply head into the zone and follow the sign at the back for “Backstage / Special Guests Only”.

We’ll be providing plenty of space to relax and de-suit, plus the other fursuiting essential – LOTS of bottled water!

If you want to store your suit with us while you head round the rest of the event, you’re welcome to use our backstage area’s van to store your belongings. While the area will be constantly in use and ANIMAGI staff around, we cannot take responsibility for items left.

Specifically for the ANIMAGI Uncensored Stage, the area is entirely wheelchair accessible (as much as a grass field can be).

The stage/zone will be loud and busy – however if this gets to be too much, there are plenty of spaces within the festival that are quiet and much more relaxed.

Any further queries on the event can be directed to Reading Pride.

No worries – either message in the Telegram chat for this page or send us a message via our Contact Page. We’ll be more than happy to help!
